Subject: Record Live Radio??
O' merciless one,
Had another thought as I padded round the exercise yard. (Nice shed by the way.)
Well, the thing is, sometimes I want to listen to the stuff on the radio, but not necessarily at the time it's on. And as I can pause and rewind to the beginning
Hope you get the drift.
Wayne

Erstwhile hirsute-designer-type,
Our team of highly skilled, yet emotionally stunted, scientists have truly excelled!
We have incorporated record into the radio. Simply insert an appropriate 'Secure Digital' card and you can record live radio for your favourite tracks & programmes. Just press the record button to start, and again to stop.
What's more it records in a format known as MP2 which is easily converted into MP3 for personal use on MP3 players. The radio will even play MP3s from your collection.
To enable easy transfer from radio to PC (where we suspect many people manage their MP3s) we have also incorporated a USB port. If you connect the radio to your PC the SD card will appear as another storage location! This also means that when we improve on the radio in the future people can update it by simply plugging it into their computer and downloading new software!
We're so excited by your idea and in such a party mood we're immediately playing 'steps' greatest hits on loop throughout the prison and especially loud through your cell loudspeaker!!
