Something else I thought of as the sirens went off this morning - how about adding alarm timers so people could have this radio in their bedroom as well as the lounge? You know so they could choose what radio station to wake up to and at what time? (It's just that sirens are a bit harsh…)

Also what would be really cool would be if they could set a different alarm time for weekdays or weekends so that they'll get their weekend lie-in. And two alarms would mean that they could get up at a different time to their cell mate (or partner).

With all this great progress on the radio, any chance of an early release?

We've incorporated the multiple alarms you suggested (practical for getting your evil manservant up to prepare the breakfast) and have made them customisable.

However we are not convinced this 'partner' arrangement you talk of will take off. We also suspect some people like the frugal and emotionally barren feeling of a tone alarm, so we have included this as well.

Re: your request for an 'early release' we are arranging extra rations.
